By using Kaomix (kaomix.online), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site (but we’d be sad to see you go (╥ω╥) ).
1. What Kaomix Is
Kaomix is a free, non-commercial, personal-use-friendly website that lets you browse, search, copy, and share Japanese kaomoji (text emoticons). No account is required. No payment is ever asked.
2. Permitted Use
You may:
- Browse and search kaomoji
- Copy kaomoji to your clipboard
- Paste kaomoji into chats, social media, forums, emails, games, comments, profiles, signatures, etc.
- Use kaomoji for personal, educational, artistic, or non-malicious commercial purposes (e.g., in your indie game, stream overlay, merch mockup, etc.)
- Link to kaomix.online from your blog, video description, or social post
3. What You May NOT Do
You may not:
- Use Kaomix to spam, harass, impersonate, dox, or harm others
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy large portions of the kaomoji database for commercial resale or competing services
- Use Kaomix in any way that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the site (it’s just HTML/CSS/JS anyway (￣▽￣) )
- Remove or obscure any copyright/trademark notices if you republish substantial parts of the collection
4. Ownership & Licensing
Kaomix itself (design, code, curation) is © 2025 Kaomix.online — all rights reserved.
Individual kaomoji are community-created Unicode text strings. Most are public domain or widely shared under permissive terms in Japanese internet culture. You are free to use, modify, and redistribute them without attribution for personal or non-malicious purposes.
If you believe any kaomoji infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@kaomix.online — we’ll review and remove if necessary.
5. No Warranty • As-Is Basis
Kaomix is provided “as is” without any warranties. We don’t guarantee that:
- The site will always be available
- All kaomoji will display correctly on every device/platform
- The site is error-free or virus-free
Use at your own risk (but it’s just text faces, so… probably fine (￣ω￣) )
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaomix and its creator(s) are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site — including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The new version will be posted here with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco (since the project appears to be operated from there). Any disputes will be handled under Moroccan jurisdiction.
